REFLECTİON TASK 3A

If I was a jury member of the committee choosing the person of the year, my candidate would be Channing Tatum. Firstly, I want to introduce Channing Tatum to you. Channing Matthew Tatum (born April 26, 1980) is an American actor, film producer, dancer, and model. He was not that famous in his early career life. His breakthrough role was in the 2006 dance film Step Up which introduced him to a wider audience. Last 2 years was his most effective years from all. Tatum appeared in Steven Soderbergh's Side Effects, with Rooney Mara and Jude Law. He reprised his role as Duke in G.I. Joe: Retaliation, the sequel to 2009's G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra, in an ensemble cast that included Dwayne Johnson and Bruce Willis. Originally scheduled for release on June 29, 2012, the film was pushed back to March 2013, in order to convert it to 3D and to add more scenes for his character, who was killed at the beginning of the movie. Tatum later said he did not want to appear in the sequel, and was happy his character was killed off. Also in 2013, he appeared in another action movie, White House Down. Tatum reprised his role from 21 Jump Street in its sequel, 22 Jump Street, which was released on June 13, 2014. Also in 2014, he co-starred with Steve Carell in Foxcatcher, the story of John du Pont, who suffered from paranoid schizophrenia and killed Olympic wrestler Dave Schulltz, the brother of the character played by Tatum, who also had won Olympic gold. Tatum will be portraying Gambit in the superhero film X-Men: Apocalypse and a stand-alone solo film which he will be producing. 

He also starred in Magic Mike, a film about his eight-month experience as a male stripper in Florida. The film was directed by Steven Soderbergh, was co-produced by Tatum and Soderbergh, and starred Tatum as Mike. He is a featured performer at a Tampa, Florida, male strip club who takes a younger dancer (Alex Pettyfer) under his wing to show him how to hustle "on and off stage." The film's cast also included Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, and Matthew McConaughey. In November 2012 Tatum was named People magazine's annual Sexiest Man Alive. Now, the second film of Magic Mike is been shooting.

REFLECTİON TASK 2B 

Doctor Who is a TV serial which continues for over 50 years. This TV serial is about a madmen in a blue box actually and this term is not belong to me, it is the main writer’s-Steven Moffat- saying. In this show, there is a 1200-year-old alien man-The Doctor- who is from Galliffrey, a planet of the Time Lords. That man escapes from his own planet and save our planet billion times but he is not alone while saving the earth. He has always a companion usually from planet earth. These companions help him to save worlds and control himself because sometimes he cannot control his actions. An interesting thing about Doctor Who is that the Doctor can regenerate himself when he is about to die. Thanks to this characteristic we have 12 doctors and this show continues for over 50 years. Another interesting thing about show is that writers do not have any concern about killing the main characters such as companions and Doctor died and survived million times. They know it is not because of actors or actresses we watch, it is because of the story they create. Steven Moffat and other writers do not think about ratings, they care about how to shock us with interesting, creative elements with perfect imagination. Actually I cannot explain the show exactly; so we can say that the proof of the pudding is in the eating. With this TV serial someone who watches this wants to get on the TARDIS and walk away with Doctor and never come back because their life seems filthy to them after watching it. By the way the TARDIS is the space ship of the Doctor, both space ship and time machine.

My favorite sport is badminton. I suppose everybody knows what badminton is but to be sure let’s explain the topic. Badminton is a racquet sport played by either two opposing players or two opposing pairs, who take positions on opposite halves of a rectangular court divided by a net. Players score points by striking a shuttlecock with their racquet so that it passes over the net and lands in their opponents' half of the court. And a shuttlecock is the ball of badminton having a conical shape with feathery things. 

I love playing badminton and even in my last of high school when I was preparing the university exam I always played badminton. It is a very enjoyable branch of sport especially if you know the technique and apply these techniques to your playing skills. 

I think badminton is much more nice than other sports such as football and basketball. There is no violence in badminton as much as in the other sports. And to me, it is actually very relaxing to play badminton because there is nothing in it to fight. I mean there is no need to fight. to conclude, my favorite sport is badminton because aside from its attractiveness badminton is a sport that does not harm you in terms of health and mind.
